Man, I hate the way corporations have incorporated the
terrorist attacks into their ad campaigns. I just saw
a
Budweiser commercial. A black screen with white type
stating
that the Anheuser-Busch is deeply saddened by the events.
Is
it just me or does anyone else find these ads morbid
and
self serving?

I've seen several, and yes, they are playing off the
tragedy, but on
the other hand, they are just going back to work, like
eveyone's
supposed to. Their job is to make you feel like they
are in your
camp so you buy their stuff. And it makes me sick.

Yep. I've yet to see a picture of "Bob",
a tear in his eye
as he appeals for $30 "for the victims" (though
I expect one
anytime now on a.b.s.)

That's what they are -always- doing.

I agree it's sick to -see- them doing it.
But what's more sick is they're -always- doing it but
it's only on
rare cases that you -notice- it.

You wonder why you get broadcast TV for free? The money
comes from
somewhere.
The advertisers are -renting- time on your -brain-.
