Poser has a feature, "Replace Body Part with Prop." It's for making peg-legs and Minotaurs and so forth. In this case, I needed the new SMILING POSER 3-derived DXF Dobbshead (the "Prop") to fit EXACTLY with the previous UNSMILING POSER 2 DOBBSHEAD. (For Dobbshead texture mapping purposes, remember.) The eyes especially had to be in exactly the same spot. As always, getting such things to match up PRECISELY in 3D programs is DEVILISHLY TRICKY WORK, as you can see by the godawful in-progress specter.
The older POSER 2 Antichrist "Bob" already had a Pipe and the best wig I could find -- I am not up to wig-sculpting yet. But Wig and Pipe do not a Dobbshead make, if the resulting monster has two noses and the most grotesque gill-mouth-pussy assemblage!
Plus his hideous implacable blank eyes.... BRRRR!
The worst news from this test render was that the Dobbshead TEXTURE MAP obviously was going to lay ONLY UPEN THE ORIGINAL POSER-2 HEAD, or NOTHING. It wasn't sticking to the imported DXF Smiling Head.
