Wading through the commercials on TV last night while trying to watch
a bit of news, it dawned on me what it is that Pinks want most out of
life:
A new car, full of hamburgers and fried chicken.

Chevy has an ad that has been running for some
weeks now, using samples from the Smashmouth song
"You might as well be walking on the sun" (whatever
the real name of the song is.)

The trouble is, the national ad campaign trickled
down to the local dealerships with more and more
of the sample deleted until it's just that one
refrain repeated over and over, between sentences
of the car dealer's spew:

"We here at Tony Smegma's A-1 Chevys,"
"You might as well be walking on the sun"
"Now have a great selection of factory new and
close-out model Chevrolets"
"You might as well be walking on the sun"
"For sale at great prices and leasing arrangements"
"You might as well be walking on the sun"
"So when you think of high quality new cars"
"You might as well be walking on the sun"
"And if you think you'll get a great deal from us"
"You might as well be walking on the sun"
"Think Tony Smegma's A-1 Chevys"
"You might as well be walking on the sun"
