Hopefully, since that KOF-RULES disc is almost 70 minutes and
DRUM ARMY CD with bonus OBE is still untapped, you should be
buried alive in BTM tunes until the NEW OBE CD comes out
sometime in 1999.

Hendrix is MY FUZZ FACE SAVIOR (although I respect him too much to
do a cheap imitation JIMI)....SPINAL TAP are the COURT JESTERS and
Marilyn Manson is the whippin' boy... with Muddy Waters, Trent Reznor, Seka,
Rod Serling and Dobbs lurking in the background egging us on.
SPINAL TAP's volume controls go to ELEVEN....
KINGS OF FEEDBACK's volume controls, do them two better and GO TO THIRTEEN!

FUNNY, those KOF TUNES at near the END (9-16) are where I went almost completely
SOLO, playing BASS with a DRUMMER and then OVERDUBBING tons of
BTM vocals, samples, guitars and shit. Out of the SIXTEEN,
I do so-called LEAD VOCALS on about a THIRD of the TUNES, VERNON does
little more than a third, we BOTH do a few together and about a THIRD are
sample-heavy WITH NO ACTUAL VOCALS.
PS: WANK MY WHAMMY is all FUNKED UP....sort of a P-FUNK TAP BOOTSY spoof
wah-wah groovo. "Gonna tweek my MUTRON, til the MOTHERSHIP BEAMS ME UP!
TV ADDICT is the REAL LIVE BTM INDUSTRIAL BLUES, I have that
cathode ray injection drip going 24-7.
HOOK ME UP is my FAVORITE....it is really an OBE-BTM style REMIX
of the FREAKIN' PERVERTED KOF tune.

There are FIVE one minute snippets of full-length songs, to
give you a glimpse of the ORGY OF NOISE cd that I am working on now.
GUEST JAMMERS in ORGY OF NOISE are members of JAPAN's MELT-BANANA,
PLAINFIELD, ANAL CUNT and OBE. MOST of them have NOT heard any
Negativland. BIG 10-8 is a good reference point though for the
SubG anti-musick types.....just add in a pile more PURE NOISE.
I have been a bad tv/film pop culture addict at least 20 YEARS plus
BEFORE I had the pleazure of hearing NEGATIVLAND. I left CALIFORNIA
in 1980, so I missed them then, BUT read a KEYBOARD PLAYER MAGAZINE
Negativland article around 1990, which mentioned FIRESIGN THEATRE
and I went out that day and got ESCAPE FROM NOISE LP. I was
happy to see/hear that LP, cause I was almost done mixing the last tunes
for the OBE - CALL NOW! LP and although my OBE LP had MORE actual so-called
music with a pile of sound collage...hearing ESCAPE gave me a false
hope that maybe there was a MARKET for NOISE. The ROOTS of my noise collage
influences are pre-Negativland stuff like FIRESIGN THEATRE. (and bad tv)
(As ya know, DON'T CRUSH THAT DWARF was extremely influential on
89-90 OBE CALLL NOW! album.)
Around this time they toured and I
invited MARK, DON and CHRIS of Negativland to do some
GUEST OBE bits....they seemed interested,
but so far it still hasn't happened, unless
they phoned-in some anonymous sample to my answering machine.
STANG already cut a bit of a rant for ONE of the cuts on the
upcoming ORGY OF NOISE cd due out in 1999.

it is a GLIMPSE of the NEW OBE cd, I am working on NOW.
Just me and my brother, laying down that OBE beat happy samplefest trip.
BOTH the new OBE and ORGY OF NOISE cds are about half completed.
How quickly they are finished and come out on CD, depends
on the SUPPORT, LUV and CASH I get on for EXISTING BTM CDs.
IT is hard to keep whippin out these masterpieces all by myself
without any real label support.
