DOBBSEDELIASTESES
First, we picked some of our favorite SubGenius religious music -- sort of a "Best of All Best-SubGenius-Music Compilations." Then we took some of the most eye-crashing graphics from the hardest-shovelin' miners in our Art Mines -- spanning a decade -- and judiciously matched them to lyrics in music. For instrumental pieces, we crammed Dobbsheads and artwork into various arcane animation robots, adjusted the robots so that they would animate in time to the music, and then set them loose. For other pieces, we carefully tweaked kandy-kolored visual trippiness until it hurt, then ran THAT through the filter marked "Make It Look Like You're On Extremely Powerful Psychotomimetic Drugs." Then, we went BACK to the artwork-layered songs, and layered MORE artwork on, animating all THAT; then, we animated the "Make It Look Like You're Tripping HARD" Filter, ITSELF. Ultimately we animated the whole computer, the DVD burner, and finally the table AND EVEN THE ANIMATOR.
The result is SubGenius Music Video Wallpaper. It could be described as psychedelic. Hop-heads, 'Frop Abusers and New Agers will be especially inclined to stare at it unblinking for hours. At our live stage devivals, we run it by itself, and/or behind the preachers, or bands. Except for "War is Good" by Lonesome Cowboy Dave, none of the videos show any of the musicians in action; they're just incredibly juicy eye candy and animation, lasting two solid hours. (Note: There are NO DOBBSHEADS in the very last 17 minutes!)
