When my son was 5, I had to explain to him that fucking
the hot water
vents in the hot tub was something he must NOT do when
Grandma was
around, that it was a "private thing" that
would be more politely done
when nobody else was present.
He thought about that for a second and then said, "Dad?
Could you leave
the hot tub and go away, so can get back to my private
thing?"
I told him he'd have to wait. I wasn't about to leave
the tub just so
the lad could hump the vents.

You're a good dad. Teaching your son to delay gratification
will serve him well
later in life.
