Hello. This is Ronnie Dobbs of the Hastings UFO Society Channeling to
you by way of Madame Thelma on the Psychic CB Channel number 22, lower
sideband, from an undisclosed location.
This is a SPECIAL BULLETIN.
The Hastings UFO Society is PROUD TO ANNOUNCE the Establishment of the
1st PSYCHIC CB RADIO STATION IN CYBERSPACE.
This HISTORICAL SCIENTIFIC EVENT was achieved on December 31st of 1994
when the Hastings UFO Society channeled it's report to the Internet in
BREATHTAKING 8 BIT MONOPHONIC SOUND.
Two Different Locations in the Western United States have reported
that they received our Psicast. Assurances that THIS IS NOT A HOAX
were given by Miss Lynsa , System Administrator at teleport.com, and
by Mr. Scott Doty. System Administrator at santarosa.edu. Both Miss
Lynsa, who Society Member Harlan U. Blount says that he "feels" may be
a "handsome woman" due to her "sensitive and womanly" use of the
English language in her Death Threat to the Society, and Mr. Scott
reported that the "Psychic Essence" of our Psicast apparently has
altered their Hard Disks in such a way that anyone who is interested
may examine the Evidence for themselves at:

Mr. Scott also reported that a Home Page has "appeared" at his site,
and was kind enough to send us a PHOTO OF THE APPARITION for us to
SCIENTIFICALLY EVALUATE AND TEST for any signs of Fakery.
After viewing the PHOTO OF THE HOME PAGE APPARITION, Society Member
Thyra Watson allowed as how it kind of reminded her of the "Face of
Jesus that time it got stained onto that woman's dish towel."
In a Press Conference held on the front step of the Hastings Public
Library, Society Spokesman Cecil Simms said that "this should be more
than enough evidence to convince even the most hardened Scientific
Skeptic, or even an Atheist. It certainly convinced me."
When asked as to why the Psicast was received in the Western United
States, Cecil said,"The Society is at a loss to explain it at present.
Some members of the Society Think Tank say that it could be due to the
Coriolis Effect, but the effects of the Psychic Sinkhole near
Gainesville are not being ruled out."
Among other possible causes discussed was the possibility that some
sort of trough, or pathway, or something, to the Western U.S. may have
been created by the Monster Mutant File that nearly destroyed the
Internet some months back. ( For more information on the Monster

Cecil went on to say that the reason that this idea was being
discussed was because it was reported in the Palatka Daily News that a
star "out there in space somewhere" was noticed by the National
Observatory to have begun emitting a "bunch of xrays, or something
about the time the Monster Mutant File was supposed to have hit
Japan", but that it was "too early to tell if there is any
correlation of significance."

resulting sample is noisy, try setting the -tsb toggle.
HELPFUL HANDY HINTS
HHH #1: Our Psicast Packets are designed to stand alone so folks with
small systems can take whichever one strikes their fancy, and
download it without running up the phone bill too much, or
tying up valuable disk space.
HHH #2: Our Psicast Packets are also designed to plug together, so if
folks decide to take 2 or 3, then we suggest that they might
also try and take an insert or two, as designated by the letter
"i" in the filename, so as to have the satisfying radio
experience of shameless advertising.
HHH #3: If you are one of the folks who are running Big Hardware, then
please feel free to take as much as you like. Be sure and look
for clusters of consecutive file numbers, as this will usually
indicate a complete feed, or you can mix and match. All you
have to do next, is to paste them together nice and tight in
their numerical order, if you're going after a whole feed, and
then get some coffee, or something, and listen to the Whole Thing.
But we advise you that THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT YOU TO
HEAR THIS. So, it might be wise if listeners turn their lights
off, or something, before they start, and STAY ALERT.
HHH #4: Aggressive Audiophiles might want to try taping the pasted
audio onto a cassette and listen to it while driving on the highway,
as Society Member Harlan U. Blount did this and reported that
the Road and Wind Noise really added to the Audio Experience.
Harlan also said that he thought it might be especially good
real late at night.
HHH #5: If you don't have a car, or your license was taken away or
something, and you can't get anybody to ride you around while
you listen to our reports, then you might try taking your
computer up into the attic or down in the basement, and listen
to the reports there in order to get a sort of "feel" for the
Spirit of Things.
HHH #6: As a Last Resort, you can try listening to our reports in
places, and at times, when and where you are not supposed to.
