Dear SubGenius Preacher,
From Sat. March the 23rd to Sat March the 31st there will be a small tour of Germany. Hamburg, Kiel, Berlin. This will occure the WEEK AFTER AMSTERAM. I know a lot of you are thinking about going and have expressed you desire to come, but please take into consideration that I have to organize you places to stay and within the next month. Some of you may crash at my place, but space is limited. I have organized a REALLY cheap hotel that is two blocks from my house. Here are the details:
Hotel Rossi
Single room: DM40 a night or about $18 perperson Double room DM 32 a night or anout $14 per person Triple rooms and dorm rooms are even cheaper
Berlin prices are comparable.
This is sort of a backpacker hotel and really just a place to crash. If you want to stay in something a litlle more luxurious like the Radison SAS or the Hamburg Four Seasons (was rated the fourth best hotel in the world), that can also be arranged if you want to stay in the den of the CON and have the money to pay for it.
This is a lot of work for me and I am not adding any money on top of any price you pay the hotel so what you see is what you get. I just want as many people to come as possible. Please tell me soon your intentions so I can make arrangements.
If you are interested and/or have already decided to go please email me and let me know ASAP so I can start making an official list.
Also, there is talk of renting a car or a bus to get everyone arround for the week in Germany. It is about a 6 and a half hour drive from Amsterdam to Hamburg and from Hamburg to Berlin is about 3 hours. From Berlin back to Amsterdam is about 7 and a half hours. This depends on how fast you drive and if you get stuck in one of Germany's fam'us traffic jams. Also, it is the German Autobahn and there are no speedlimits in a lot of places. Could be fun BUT BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!
