IvanStang: It was the most Slackful, nonstressed X-Day ever for me. And I managed to meet my goal of meeting every SubG there -- far as I know. I had to actually hiunt down some of them. There was one guy who was always disguised that i didn't meet.

IvanStang: One thing that was really impressive was seeing the Bold Surrealism on the part of lots of young or new Drs

IvanStang: I had been starting to get almost bored with X-Day Drills but this time lots of new people took advantage of the opportunity to show off, and they did some hilarious shit.

IvanStang: We didn't have to throw anyone out this time, although Acid Burn Out Man almost got booted from the camp. But he's used to that.

IvanStang: It was the biggest turnout since 1998, at least 175 that we counted, probably some more that snuck in, and that doesn't count the Pagans who hung around.

IvanStang: Another great thing that happened was the pagan fire and drum people built a big wooden Dobbs Ikon and a big bonfire and gave us a monster fire, and drummed like crazy while it burned -- Banjo Bob did the job of 20 topless female pagan dancers.

IvanStang: The pagans themselves were chanting "Bob" while this monster Ikon burned -- it was visually most impressive.

IvanStang: ESO has changed a lot -- the gorgeous violinist is no longer there -- but there are now 3 guitar players and an all new set full of classic Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and even Ghost Riders in the Sky. Legume "SANG" on "I WANNA BE A DRILL INSTRUCTOR"
IvanStang: I never saw such great looking women dancing up front at ANY ESO show.

IvanStang: Some VERY weird shit went down late at night and sometimes in the middle of the day at Chas's Bonobo A Go Go lounge.... I missed much of that, darn it.
