DREW BARRYMORE - actress/producer/free spirit -
impressed Hollywood by helping turn "Charlie's
Angels," an old TV series, into a big-screen hit.
Now we hear Drew wants to transform another small-
screen classic into the big time.

She loves the "Laverne and Shirley" sitcom, which
starred Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams. Drew
likes the idea of taking on the role of Shirley,
dying her hair black for the role.

And guess what? They say actress/rocker/free spirit,
Courtney Love, is the one Drew sees in the role of
Laverne. Of course, Ms. Barrymore's agent's office
says they've never heard of such an idea.

But what an idea it is. Drew and Courtney on the
same movie set. Well, it wouldn't be boring!
