This is the approach to one of the "stone circles." The branches on the right form an arch or "doorway" that is useful for cultish processions. We haven't had a freak parade since the 1997 Drill and this area might be useful for such a thing. There are several other clearings like this around the campground. At Starwood they're used for "workshops," which can mean almost anything. I once woke up to see a Naked Yoga Massage Workshop happening mere yards from where I was sleeping. It was like watching a monster movie without a plot: some attractive ladies, some monsters. Being a monster movie fan I was not especially shocked. At my age I would probably qualify as one of the monsters. But don't worry; you probably won't see me naked.
