Well, they *could* stop us, but we can exploit a weakness of theirs:
they care too much about appearing "fair" and "reputable". It's like
elections: the media and government officials engage in every form
of dishonesty, slander and disinformation to confuse the public, but
in the end they put the vote in the hands of the people, so they can
claim they're just following the dictates of the people. That's why
I still bother to vote and actually talk about politics: because it's
still theoretically possible for us to win by their rules, and I'd
hate to miss the opportunity.
