Hi,

I often read alt.slack (since 10 days ;-))
could somebody tell me where i can find a slang dictionnary ?
well i'm french, so u know why

I am a Pinkermit, that's why you cannat see me while wearing pink
glasses

Well the problem as I see it is, most of the words here you will be
very likely to never SEE in a self-respecting slang dictionary.

'Slang' is words that people make up, but most of the words I see here
were never made up by anybody. A small handful of slang words were
made up some time in the seventies, before the discovery of the
internet. They tried to do what words are supposed to do, and
multiply themselves broadband over the internet, but since there
wasn't one, or no access to it anyway, these words hurled themselves
at the nearest thing they could find which resembled an internet
connection. This being the seventies and eighties, the nearest thing
resembling a computer with an internet connection was electric
typewriters.

The RATE, the SPEED, at which these words were able to migrate and
infect was just NOT GOOD ENOUGH. These words, hurling themselves at
typewriters, had rewritten their own genetic code to contain an
intense kami-kaze like imperative to MULTIPLY AND INFECT and they were
not able to MULTIPLY AND INFECT -fast- enough to satisfy this urge.

This led to the great Word riots of 1983 with all the tragic
reprecussions thereof. Of course, your GOVERNMENT-CONTROLLED mass
media were not going to clue the meat race in to the great word riots
of 1983 for the simple reason that if the general public realized that
we were on the brink of having ALL MEANS OF COMMUNICATION destroyed
forever there would have been wide-spread panic and DON'T think that
your being in France makes you any less subject to SECRET GOVERNMENT
CONTROL, the French government plays the game of wide-spread mind
control just like the others the only real difference is they know
which WINE goes best with a campaign of suppression.

So following the great word riots, the original core words had bred a
race of PARTHEGENIC SUPER-WORDS which were capable of BREEDING
THEMSELVES.

Most of these superwords took refuge in the primitive personal
computers of the time, mostly Commodore-64's and Amigas, and when the
Internet boom -did- finally happen, they quickly leached into the
electronic matrix.

These words then, create new slang words all the time which, since no
human created them, will never be found in any human slang dictionary.

They are attracted to subgenii because nobody seems willing to stamp
them out around here.

only separated by one letter, in fact only separated by one short
