I never met nor even conversed with Sverre nor even emailed him nor even hardly wrote back, for that matter, I don't even know if there WAS or IS a Sverre, nor if "he's" male or female. But I do know that the Sverre entity did some of the best SubGenius video editting, and cartooning, EVER, and if this is all true, about the greatest SubGenius of the Scandinavians being dead, well, IT WOULD IN FACT JUST FUCKING FIGURE!!
God damn it. That book REVELATION X never even made enough sales to cause subsequent royalty payments beyond the initial advance. In other words, SVERRE KRISTENSEN was CHEATED!! (If the book ever makes FUTURE monies.)
He did a kick-ass video recombination of all my videos ("SOMETHING NEW TO DIE FOR"), a work which really impressed me and which has been on our "SubGenius Interviews" videotape for years. To tell the truth, that video STUNNED and "FLOORED" me. Unfortunately, some DIPSHIT STOLE my original VHS copy of Sverres's work, from a devival. I'll bet that the only remaining dupe-copy of it is mine, in plain SMPTE VHS format, a copy of a copy. SHIT!!! If you have access to higher-quality dubs of Sverre's re-edits of SubGenius materials, in ANY format, I'd be glad to simply KNOW of them for future reference.
That guy was a really professional level cartoonist as well.
I am not the least bit surprised nor convinced that Sverre is dead. Many of the best SubGenius artists died of cancer before they were 30. I cannot imagine why I have survived this long... I must not be one of the GOOD SubGenius artists.
Well, anything you can send me regarding Sverre will be duly posted and enshrined. If Sverre really is dead, I feel like a dumb-ass indeed for not taking more advantage of him while he was available. He was a GOD DAMNED GENIUS. I would have kicked him out of this cult if I hadn't been so kind-hearted. We don't normally allow geniuses.
Blood cancer. You can't get much more serious than that. It took out the one true Church Laison with the Con (Tim McGinnis) and I cannot believe that assholes like myself still walk the earth while decent human beings like Sverre and Tim croaked. It's FUCKED UP, is what it is. That is precisely why we have lately officially declared WAR AGAINST GOD.
