"NOT... A... PARTY.... DRUG...."

That was the verdict on Ketamine handed down to me by an old British
hipster about 10 years ago, when K started being available in London.

He and his friends had tried it. They were watching TV. He got up to
change the channel and about halfway there, the drug hit. He kind of
froze, folded up and lay flat on the floor for the next 6 hours, in
some bizarre timeless drug netherworld, unable to EVEN MOVE.

"NOT... A... PARTY... DRUG" was all his friends could get out of him.

I get the impression that it's unpredictable and dangerous, like PCP,
only you're more helpless.

I've tried lots of drugs, but I always read up on them first. K is one
I wouldn't even consider TASTING. Others of this ilk include heroin,
crack, and PCP. There are some things man was not meant to know.

Some men ARE meant to know such things, as warnings to the rest of us.
These are often people you don't want living next door or to
marry your sister. Though they can be interesting to talk to
at least for short periods of time.

I was given K before surgery a few years ago, I distinctly remember rising
up into a huge saucer before waking up with my legs covered with a synthetic
material stapled into my skin
