even when it's not Halloween.

The problem for the erstwhile Ed Rooney, however,
is that the kids are not his own--and one of those
kids is now suing him for sexual abuse.

The actor was hit with a civil suit Monday in Los
Angeles by the same boy who was at the center of
the 2002 kiddie-porn criminal case against Jones.

Jones was originally arrested in November 2002
following a yearlong child pornography sweep that
also netted Paul "Pee-wee Herman" Reubens in an
unrelated case.

While misdemeanor charges against Reubens were
later dropped, Jones' felony case landed the
actor in serious hot water...
