Anyone thing that a union such as the Teamsters could back I.T.
workers?
First contract rule: Non-U.S. citizens are exempt from union
coverage.
Second contract rule: All H1-B or similar visas must be automatically
revoked (until next election of Union officials).
Third contract rule: American corporations must limit offshored
workers to five per year.
Fourth contract rule: Union workers will pay weekly dues to the union
in minimum of 10% gross income.

I think they would go for this -- anyone disagree with this?

If you live in Washington state, it's already happening. Check out
WashTech, the Washington Alliance of Technology Workers CWA AFL-CIO. I
think you might like what they're doing.

http://www.washtech.org/

Now, If you decode the alphabet soup, you'll notice that WashTech is
affiliated with CWA. CWA is Communications Workers of America AFL-CIO,
a large national union which claims "High Tech" as one of its
industries. CWA may well have other local IT alliances around the
country; WashTech is just the only one I happen to know about.

So I'd say call your local CWA - I'd think they'd be able to at least
point you in the right direction.

(Disclaimer: I have no professional affiliation with WashTech, CWA, or
the AFL-CIO.)

Did they mention you get to vacation with Jimmy Hoffa if you ask too many smart
ass questions?
