Two years ago, Iraq had one political party and no blogs. Now, thanks to America and our allies, it has a Pro-Democracy Party and two bloggers-turned-candidates. Meanwhile, America has a party that calls itself Democratic, even though most of its members would rather Iraq still be a dictatorship.

Sorry, Ubi, sometimes people forget you don't use services like Google
that show the whole thread. Someone named Peter gave D&D stats for
Bush, and ended his post with "Go d20!" So, that little piece was on
topic, at least.

Personally, though, I wish the election were over so people could shut
the f##k up about it. Unfortunately, looks like we'll be hearing about
it for a long time after.

No, it wasn't. At least, not in rec.games.frp.gurps which it is being cross

This brings up the reason why I hate this election season. Each side
claims the other is lying and cheating to win. How is anyone supposed
to know who to trust? And you know that no matter who wins, there will
be an uproar from the other side, and it won't die down for another
year or so.

Personally, I wish everyone would vote for "None of the Above," so we
could find two other candidates, and have a CLEAN election.

which party to vote.
His response: "Imagine somebody serves you three plates with shit. Which
one would you eat?"

Of course not, but the Democrat have long been telegraphing that
they're going to try to win the election by any means possible,
including stealing it again. We all can thank Al Gore for that

Yeah, his buddies knocked qualified voters from the rolls in Florida, and

Speaking of home dimensions, you need get in touch with reality.
AlGore lost, they recounted and he lost again, then sent the lawyers in
to steal the election via cherry-picking while systematically attempting
to get rid of the military ballots. The Supreme Court in a 7-2 ruling
called the Dems on it and told him to either recount ALL the votes in Florida
using the same non-subjective tallying method or submit the tallies.

You may thank me for setting you straight later.

Are you saying that Bush's attorneys did not petition the Supreme Court to
halt recounts on December 8th, 2000? They did not claim Bush would suffer
"irreparable harm" as a result of the hand counts?

glasses.

Nonsense. I did not vote for *either* of those two fucks in 2000.
Personally, I think the Democrats in the Senate were a bunch of scumbag
cowards for not looking into the disenfranchisment that occurred in Florida.

By the way, you are a moron if you think *either* major party does not pull
every dirty trick they think they can get away with in order to get into
power.

This is either the most ironic statement I've ever read, or the
most ignorantly stupid statement I've ever read. The facts are:

Black voters (traditionally D) were purged/turned away from polls.
Kathryn Harris et al. went in and "fixed" ballots absentee ballots
received from military folk (traditionally R) so they would get counted.
George Bush and the RNC, you know, those big States' Righters and
proponents of smaller federal involvement, were then ones who
brought suit to the *Federal* Supreme Court when it is clear by
the Constitution that voting is under the jurisdiction of the State
and it's Supreme Court.

Here is another, interesting "empowerment of the people" from the White

Well, yes, tho I'd prefer you took the inquiry to some approriate group.

> With which nation?

Those people/groups that the presdient feels were responsible for 9/11 and
any nation that offers them support or safe harbor, and with Iraq.

> And when did the Senate pass the resolution required by your

On Septmber 18th, 2001 the president signed Senate Joint Resolution 23

and

On October 16, 2002, public law 107-243 "Authorization for Use of Military
Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002" which in some ways was redundant
to the previous resolution.

None of this the slightest to do with GURPS tho.

Hmmm, fascinating. A political blank cheque. Authorising indefinite use
of force, public resources and lives against a target or targets yet to
be determined. At least when they declared war on Germany and Japan they
named the targets.

Are you saying we have to vote for one of the two party
candidates while we are at war, but other times we could find two new
ones? Why is that?

That is easy: don't trust *either* of the bastards. Both sides are willing
to lie and cheat to win.
