Just a few days ago, a Canadian submarine had a
serious problem off the coast of Ireland. This
was due to terrible maintenance and a Mary Tyler
Moore attitude about submarines.

It just so happens I know a guy who was in the
Canadian Navy, and I asked him about this, to
which he responded with what he swore was the
only known Canadian Navy submarine joke.

Captain: "Young sailor, what do you do if you
are in the crew quarters, up to your lower lip
in cold salt water, and you see a shark?"

Sailor: "I don't know sir!"

Captain: "Ask her out on a date, quick!"
