Antique Hours of Slack on Monter

St. David Bachner got a wild hair (hare?) and copied some old Hour of
Slack shows from cassette tapes to mp3 -- shows numbers 360, 386, 389,
428 and 450. There are from 1992 or 1993, when I was still doing the
shows in Dallas, but using a lot of tape from visits to Brain Rot Radio
on WCSB in Cleveland. 360 is "The Poebucker Special" and has a lot of
prank calls and Janor Hypercleats, including (I think) the beloved
poebucker anthem, "Half-Assed Drunk," that he and Sterno did.
I haven't actually listened to them myself except to make sure they
play okay. I nonetheless posted them to alt.binaries.monter-movies.
They're all about 50 mb each but are divvied up into 4 or 5 RAR parts
with PARS, for those with crappy usenet feeds where bits might get
lost. (Par files can be used to magically replace lost or damaged RAR
parts! -- a major technical advance for heavy duty file trading on
usenet.)
Some guy is gradually posting an entire DVD of that movie Troy on
monter! Nu-monet is reposting the 86 marvelous badfilm trailers.
Last night I dug out my old VHS copy of "The Hellstrom Chronicle."
Taped off TV, with commercials... and missing the first few minutes.
Princess Wei had never seen it, and she has Insect Fear, so what choice
did I have? I wonder if better copies of that little mindfuck are
floating around.
