If they're going to be a problem, then you just have to also import a
predatory species. You know, wolves to cull the deer herd. In this
case, you need a fast growing species to keep up with the birth &
immigration rate of the proliferating species. To that end, it is my
suggestion that you graft the genes of Jeffrey Dahmer & Julia Child
onto some Mexicans. I am confident that the end result will be a
subsequent proliferation of Somali tamales.

Well, it seems that the situation in Wisconsin, California, Maine,
and here is that the imports are often more vigorous than the domestic
crop. They have that lean and hungry look. Here, the various Latinos,
Orientals, and also about 20,000 Somalis are generally productive in
creative sorts of ways, filling economic niches. For example, I am very
happy with the proliferation of a wide variety of restaurants and food stores.
The Arab Halal markets are about the only place I can find Iranian pistashios,
myrrh, and the right kind of yogut to mix with cucumbers and dill.

I am enjoying the diversity, and I think that this sort of cross-polination
of cultures and semi-controlled competition is producing good results.

The down side is that there are hunting mishaps, the little town in Maine
feels swamped with newcomers, and there is some culture-clash.

But it's all good, eh?

Yer darn tootin', dagnabbit! Say, Leon Redbone was so duly inspired by
the inveterate propensities of this here group to graffiti-fy the
nebbahood so much that he rewrote & recorded a new song. Perhaps
you've heard it. It's entitled: "Somali wanna doodle all the day".

Yeah! And his wondermous rendition of "Lazybones"

And "Walkin'Stick"
Without my walkin' stick
I'd go insane
But I just can't get around
Without my cane!
