Whats with these silly conservative right-to-lifers holding a sick vigil
outside the hospital where that poor woman wants to die in peace.
These people are so fucking stupid, they are most likely all conservatives,
and what group of people dont agree with universal free health care, the
very same.
So sure they want to keep somone alive, but if someone cant afford an
operation, then well too fucking bad, IM not paying for it!
Right too life my arse.
Silly Americans.
But on that case, wouldnt it be more humane to give her euthanasia instead
of just letting her starve to death? weird fucking planet

Don't blame us. Blame the Brits. They sent Australia their criminals and
the U.S. their religious nut jobs. Wanna trade?

Actually, the US got some Criminals too. Virginia was a favorite
dumping ground for petty theives, and "political enemies" for about a
decade.

One of the better arguments about the whole thing I
heard was the comment that "Wouldn't things be
interesting if anybody's ex could put them to death?
I mean, if they don't get the insurance money or
anything, but they have the right to starve their
ex to death. People would be a HELL of a lot more
careful who they married."

One of the statistics that came to light during this drama
was that there are more than 30,000 people existing in a
PVS.
There are more than that living in trailers with PVC plumbing,
and many of them aren't even married!

Wow!
One serving=One vegetable exchange, for those of us on special diets.
That would be quite an army of minions to command if you could invent some
kind of remote control for them.
Word of this gets out, some one of them coffehouse chains will develop a
special force fed latte drink for them just on the strength of that market
size.

I guess you've never heard of alimony.

I feel sorry for the people who also have relatives at that Hospice
Center. They have to go through 3 check points, get searched for
weapons, etc. just to go say goodbye to Grand-Pa!
And the patients in there who checked in to die in peace and dignity
have become a side show to media circus.
THE ULTIMATE HYPOCRACY in this whole deal is Tom Delay, Texas' resident
asshole in the US Congress. Seem that 10 or so years ago, HIS father
was in a simualr situation, and he agreed to "pull the plug" on him,
even though his father did not ahve a "Living Will!"
So maybe Mr. Delay should confess his "murder" of his father so the
Governemnt's designated "faith-based Charity" can come a claim his kids
for Jesus!
