The Real McKenzies is a Scottish rock band sporting bagpipes and kilts.
With tracks named "Nessie" and "Sawney Beane Clan" on albums
called "Loch'd n Loaded" and "Clash of the Tartans", they deserve
a listen or two. I've heard a track off of "Pissed Tae Th' Gills"
and they're pretty tight for a bunch of drunken louts.
If you've ever thought that bagpipes and Scottish snares had a place
in rock, well, there ye go.

No - they're not. They're from Vancouver.
I thought they a bit *too* "Scottish" to be true.
Thankfully I was right.

"If its not Scottish its CRAP!!" which is not to say that Scottish
and CRAP are mutually exclusive, as Franz Ferdinand handily proves.
