I'm good with "Bob" and paid up. She's good with "Bob" but not a
Revrund. Can she come as my guest?
Are pets allowed?
Do we need to arrange in advance for a LongDurPerMar? Can we choose the
Revrund who will perform it? Can we choose the Revrund NOT to perform
it?
Are there civilized accomodations nearby for REAL people so that they
do not have to roll around in the mud with the dirty nasty hippies and
live in Paleolithic conditions?
How big are the fire pits? REAL big? REAL REAL big?

If they let Huey in, they'll let your puppy in too.

Of course you can bring guests. Just make sure they are TASTY!
And there are reasonably affordable places to stay where you can sleep on
sheets of various degrees of cleanliness. I recommend finding a place in
far eastern Erie, PA, about twenty minutes away. I won't recommend my
favorite place because, hell, I don't want it filling up, and they serve
eggies in the morning, and I don't want all them eggs to be gone when I
finally trundle down for my late breakfast.
There could be a Holiday Inn Express in Findley Lake, NY, which might be
about two miles from the end of Bailey Hill road which is ten minutes drive
up a dirt road from Brushwood, which is only approachable by dirt roads
anyhow. But you wouldn't want to stay there, because you might run into me.
Worse yet, you might have to stay in a room that I had used on a previous X
day. Shit, you might even run into Joe Cosby and not know it.
Or you could go a little further to Maysville, NY on the shores of lake
Chautaqua, where there's even B&B's if you want to be a jolly big swell
about the whole thing. Just leave me a room at the Holiday, m'kay?

These are both the same question. Yes, of course.

As long as you gently marinade yourselves for about a week in advance, yessy
yessy yes yes.

IMAGINARY people are people too. Don't be so picky.

Fire pits? What are you, an oxygenated atmosphere dweller? There'll be
fissionable energy release pits, and they're as BIG as they need to be to
cook up a good batch of fern and produce nourishing radiation.

I'll answer your questions FOR REAL, if you don't mind.
-Anyone coming joins the Church to attend, so she'll become a Reverend
upon registration.
-NO pets are allowed at Brushwood
-The camping fire pits are normal. The ceremonial fire pits are HUGE.
-The road to Brushwood is paved.
-YES to all marriage questions.

NO! Brushwood doesn't want to have to console Earthbound "widows" when
The Rupture happens. She MUST be ordained and sanctified fair and
square to even qualify for entry into these august halls with the Elect
and the Chosen. So she's $60, you are only $30. Plus camping fee which
I think is $10 a person per night but might have gone up.

No, pets aren't allowed at Brushwood.

A LEGAL marriage? That's actually between you and City Hall more than
anyone else. Anybody whom you believe to be a minister can sign the
wedding certificate!
I CHARGE $200! But X-Day is actually NOT the best time to try to get
ME to do ANYTHING, because I'll already be doing way too much no matter
what.
Lately Reverend Angry Larry, who will be there as manager of The Amino
Acids, has been performing ADMIRABLE weddings and is probably MUCH
cheaper than most other loud-hollering preachers.

See iDRMRSR's answer. Erie is nearby and Findley Lake has an expensive
Holiday Inn. There are also some very nice bed-and-breakfasts in
Sherman, which are used to STRANGE strangers during the summer.
The conditions are not really paleolithic. Bronze Age at least.

Only real big. The REAL REAL big fire pit is at Starwood. That is a
FUCKING REAL REAL REAL big fire pit. Its hugeness makes the serious
tree huggers all hand-wringy. They put COOL futurismo fireworks in it
too.
But it's BEST and WEIRDEST at the crack of DAWN when its smoldering and
the INSANE FUCKAZOIDS are still hobbling around it like Homo Habilis.
We wouldn't have a fire pit for shit at X-Day is it weren't for the
help from the pagans. They're all right for unsaved, some of them. And
their women are comely, if treacherous.
