Why is it that kooks don't use it?? It's always the
ones who try to
sound the loftiest who make the worst mistakes too.
I mean anyone can
make a typo, but when you're mixing up aught and ought
and bare and
bear, then maybe you're not the messiah.
And don't be like, "Oh spellcheck doesn't catch
it if it's still a real
word" because Bill Gates, long may he reign, has
made the latest
spellcheck software plenty intelligent to make even
the craziest kook
readable. They're just plain lazy is what! And I for
one do not want
someone too lazy to use spellcheck running the universe!

It's so you don't start thinking "hey maybe this
guy has really got
something here." You probably would believe how
much time I have spent
giving serious consideration to some really deranged
idea just because
it was written in a way that made it seem intelligent,
only to be
furious with myself when I finally located the major
error in reasoning.

That's how the Church of the SubGenius® snared me.

Definitely the Evita Peron of The CofSG.
Personaly, I find grammer and punctuacion errors far
more irritating
than speling misteaks.

I'm not saying nobody should ever make mistakes, I'm
just saying I'm not
getting in your homemade time machine.

Perhaps you've got something there, Nenslo. What is
needed is IdeologyChek.
There are as many versions as there are languages and
dialects. You simply
answer a few ideological questions and your machine
will never let anything
by that isn't Youish Orthodox without flagging it for
you.
Never be persuaded again!
