ARRR HAR HAR!!! I downloaded the clip and checked out
the guy's site,
and wrote him a congratulatory email.
He seems to have accumulated quite a library of prank
calls, though not
all under the name of "Bob."
For those not downloading WMV files, this guy called
Ted Koppel and got
on live TV as if he was "Bob Dobbs of the NY Transit
Authority." He
then proceeded to relate some halfway helpful advice
to people stuck in
the subways during the blackout, interspersed with at
least 3 clear
plugs for his website, thanksfortakingmycall.com, which
is just a
collection of prank call recordings he's done.
He goes by the handle Subgeniusyeti@yahoo.com
For all I know or knew, this is somebody I know or knew.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the goof. I just wanted to
plug the
website:
http://www.thankyoufortakingmycall.com
which is pretty clogged right now. I received many
emails from
viewers who stated they immediately knew what was up
when they heard
the name. Hopefully I can get a few of these tapes
out there. 5
bucks barely covers shipping and materials for a 30
minute sample
video tape.
