It IS, when you first get the IDEA. Luckily for the
world, that's when
most people stop.
So these hacker dooz, script kidz n stuff, they have
monster virus spy
programs that sneak up the butts of cable modem users,
and USE the
computers of far-flung unsuspecting amateurs in mass
computations of
evil bulk mailings and attacks?
Can we do the same kind of thing, only, we'd only use
the victims'
processors to help render our animations?
Or is that what they're already doing in Hollywood?
And the reason my
Mac was crashing so much a few months ago was because
those guys were
rendering LORD OF THE RINGS scenes on it?

Yeah, something like Seti@home, build it into a screen
saver and put
it up on subsite

They split out a render into 1 frame per machine over
thousands of
machines. I think the new version of Bryce does network
renders, not
sure tho'. Mo tells me that MJW could do it, but, who
would believe
HIM?
And the reason my
Mac was crashing so much a few months ago was because

Damn! you weren't supposed to find out about that...
