In the 80's when I listened to your show in Houston;
The was a show in
which "A tiny Dr. Tim" was mentioned. One
of the characters on this show I
remember mentioning "I have a pain in my halabaloosis"
I just made up the
spelling of halabaloosis. Anyway, was this from Dr.
Timothy O' Leary? If
you remember this, could you replay this show again?
Or, Maybe even put it
up on the binaries site. I also remember that to become
a subgenii, one had
to eat at either Taco Bell or Del Taco for 40 days and
practice
Pyro-flatulation. And, move your finger up and down
your throat and say
E-I-E-I-E over and over. Anyhow, that is some funny
shit. To this day I
think about those shows and laugh!!

A tiny Dr. Tim what lived in a shrine made entirely
out of
oleomargarine?
You're thinking of the Firesign Theatre. That bit is
one their album
"Waiting for the Electrician or Somone Like Him"
which has recently
been re-released.

That is correct.
I had an ancient LP of that, now pitted like an asteroid,
that I
probably played at the station. It's truly a classic
album, albeit
dated -- perhaps even SEE-dated.
I have a huge stash of rare Firesign radio shows on
MP3...I posted half
of one a month or two ago, but didn't get the impression
that anyone
here wanted more.
I don't have that particular album anymore except on
the unplayably old
LP.
Later albums by them are actually much better, "Don't
Crush That
Dwarf," "Everything you Know Is Wrong,"
and "I Think We're All Bozos on
this Bus" being their most beloved by fans.
Old hippies mouth lines from the first two albums much
like old nerds
mouth Monty Python lines.
And like I mouth SubGenius lines.
