Actually there's a national TV commercial out right now that does that
-- 3 fat guys in tiny bathing suits posing on a beach as if for a
"swimsuit issue". As usual, I remember everything about the commercial
except what it's advertising.

Fat Guy Super Heros have been a staple of sitcoms and dopey cartoons
for at least as long as novelty fat women have been on greeting cards,
seems like to me. And I don't mean Adam West as Batman or Shatner is
Kirk, I mean really fat guys.

Let's face it, there have been male and female cartoon characters since
time immemorial (when cartoons were first invented) who are supposed to
be "funny" purely on account of their fatness, and especially when they
are dressed as if for activities requiring physical agility.

Chalk it up to the human love for contradiction, whereby bald men are
nicknamed "Curly," huge men are called "Tiny," SubGenii are dubbed
"Professor", etc.

The latest, shiniest research indicates that the "Venus of Willendorf"
was some guy making fun of some other guy's fat wife.

No, no... you got it all wrong. When people call me Professor it's a
mark of respect for my great learning and erudition.

I love when the photgrapher is encouraging them and at the end says,
" Sexy!......kind of..."

Which says a lot of NASTY things about people and their views of the
body. Fat is. That's IT. Whenever I hear people using the word "fat"
as an insult I get all over their ass. (No, not in a GOOD way. And
yes, ANY word meaning "fat".)
