Who, The
Tommy (1969)
Do You Think It's Alright

Mother:

Do you think it's alright,
To leave the boy with Uncle Ernie?
Do you think it's alright;
He's had a few too many tonight!
D'you think it's alright?

Father:

I think it's alright, yes I think it's alright

Who, The
Tommy (1969)
Fiddle About

Uncle Ernie:

I'm your wicked Uncle Ernie
I'm glad you won't see or hear me
As I fiddle about
Fiddle about
Fiddle about !

Your mother left me here to mind you
Now I'm doing what I want to
Fiddling about
Fiddling about
Fiddle about!

Down with the bedclothes
Up with the nightshirt!
Fiddle about
Fiddle about
Fiddle about !

You won't shout as I fiddle about
Fiddle about
Fiddle about
Fiddle about !
Fiddle, fiddle, fiddle.

Hrrrruummmpphhh. Well, a proper Englishman is quite
solely satisfied with a brisk round of bum birching
followed by an hour or so of reader's theatre and
traffic reports on BBC-1 before turning in.
Only the lower classes indulge in talking about the
weather for sexual tittilation and such things.
More exotic perversions are reserved for the Scots
and other negroe wogs. Such as haggis and bagpipes
and most Hindu entertainments like lemon curry not
mentioned before proper ladies.
