Can't say I blame him either. "Wellstone's dead, rah rah rah! Vote
Democrat!" I was a voting Democrat up until the 2000 election, even
though I've known for a while that there is very little difference
between the Demopublicans and the Republicrats.

What weirded me out was when it sunk in that there issn't even THAT
much difference between, say, the Australian Aborigines and the urban
North Americans. You could pick any bunch of bipedal primates, and
they all do pretty much the same thing the world over. Party and
bullshit until somebody gets their feelings hurt, then there's a big
mes and later they get back to partying and bullshitting. Probably more
bullshitting than partying.
