Great punch-line, huh?
While trying to verify its accuracy I discovered that
it's all over
the place (google on [+"bangs the drums" +Caesar],
etc). I'm not
completely convinced that it's not fake...Caesar wrote
a fair amount
of stuff, and what little I've read was less florid,
and it never
has a cite tho one guy sorta said it was from "De
Bello Gallico."
