LETTER TO NAIVE KID

I am a concerned "Amerikkkan" who is concerned with the quickly evolving government that is on the verge of taking matters into their own hands and abolishing human rights all together. I know it has been going on for years upon end but am I mistaken when I say there just isn't something right with King George II? Does he not seem to know that he possess the power to do whatever the hell he wants and not think twice.

I am not a paranoid individual (at least I like to think that) but I have this bad gut feeling that in this time of opressors we are under a serious breaking point advisory and no one seems to notice. 40+ years ago everyone with an understanding of how bad things were would have already united and tried to do something about it. Why are we not up for that anymore? Does no one fight for what they believe in anymore? Has the government grown so strong that it seems foolish to throw a brick at it? Are we afraid that we will all be labeled as "hippies" and ridiculed for being overly zealous?

Well I for one am not scared of any of the above or anything else that might stand in my way of shooting my mouth off about what scares the shit out of me, and that is the one world government run by the kooks that we call the Amerikkkan government. I have written you before on the subject of legalization of marijuana in which you replied only to inform me that you would write more later. I dont blame you for not answering my e-mails, I know you are an extremely busy individual, but I also know that you are an extremely intellingent and open minded individual who cares about the REAL problem we are facing as humans. I understand the Church's views on illicit drugs and realize that we as SubGenii should not need to grasp onto such plastic happiness, to a point where it ends up ruining our lives. I am totally confident that the legalization of marijuana would not pose any threat to the progress of bright minded individuals, whom I might add we need many more of, but instead it just might bring a sense of unity for the freedom fighters and give them the motivation needed to fight other important issues that almost do seem imposible such as war.

Anyway, I try to keep these short, so if you would just reply and give me some insight and answer some questions I have, I will be able to narrow down my inqueries.
I thank you so much for your time and only hope one day I will be able to apply what I have learned from such teachings as The Church of the SubGenius to make this world a safe place for my children, against crooked politicians and cops as well as overall thinking.

I'm not sure what you want, man. Only you know what you can do best and how best to do it. There are no simple solutions, that's the bitch of it. I'm no political smartass but it seems to me that it's gonna be a slow torturous climb to World Slack. If you read a lot of history, you'll see that we have actually come quite a long way.

I have been dealing with pot being illegal for (holy shit!) over 30 years and I have gone to jail for it. I don't expect the liquor and cig lobby is gonna change anything. I changed -- I quit smoking cigarets and drinking alcohol. If I REALLY want a change I'll up and move to England or Holland, although that's easier said than done. I don't expect to be able to change anything in America or anywhere else. I can only change WHERE *I* AM and chances are, you can only change where you are. OR, maybe you can be like that guy that stood facing off against that tank in Beijing, a symbol of freedom who got away scott free. Or like the 3,000 students who protested in a big group and all got mowed down. That happened in a Communist country. In this country, they've only massacred 3 or 4 students at a whack in public (Kent State). I'm not saying things aren't getting scary here, I'm just saying that if you check out a whole hell of a lot of other places, it's EVEN WORSE!! With NO hope, NONE, zilch. At least here you can still pick which shit-work job you can apply for.

You will ALWAYS be frustrated with how leming like everybody else is, and you probably cannot nudge ANY of them one iota from their path. You can make YOURSELF the most free individual possible, given whatever your limitations are (I know I have some!), and let others learn by example.

If you don't depend on the Conspiracy, then you aren't one of the things IT'S depending on.

You and every weirdo in the world cannot stop a monster that is thousands of years old and composed of 6 billion human beings. There aren't that many weirdos. You can only find chinks in the monster's hide, and HIDE IN THERE until one of us can figure out a way to tie its shoelaces together so that it falls down on its own.

That's just my philosophy of this particular afternoon, and believe me, I don't know SHIT about world politics, I only know the primate politics of the creatures around me, and that's enough to deal with right there!

The best thing you can do to weaken "Them" is probably to make yourself stronger.
