This morning I represented the Church again for a show on Danish Public
Radio called "Kronometer". The sexy-voiced host lady had already taped
me doing this by phone, but someone at the station "deleted the whole
interview by accident" -- HMMMM! I'll BET!! -- so I did it again. I'm
sure the first time was much more spontaneous. Oh well. It'll be on in
a week or so I guess. In Danish, I assume... they're hearable online,

She said she'd email me about the exact schedule, but my prediction is
that she'll get busy and forget.

I didn't say much that would be new to any SubGenius, just the basic
"SubG 101" praising of J.R. "Bob" Dobbs and polite explanation of his
doctrine of FUCK 'em if they can't take a joke. It's not especially
in-depth, probably just a 7 or 8 minute piece with the standard
"money-grubbing hilarious fake church" angle that is about the only way
the mass media ever approaches the word of J.R. "Bob" Dobbs. What might
be good to get on tape would be her intro and outro and weird-ass
Danish pronuciations of SubG jargon. (Her English is IMPECCABLE, and
sounds like a WET DREAM.)

I was interviewed for the same program and provided the producer with some
background info. At first I was very reluctant because I do not consider
myself an expert on SubGenius at all (more like a tourist), but I was told
that it was okay, I just needed to talk about my personal angle to the
subject, so I tried to talk about you in the context of "culture jamming"
which you might agree with me on or not, and I also explained a little about
kooks and crackpots especially on the WWW, but I tried not to give too
narrow a definition of "what you are" since I'm really not the one to ask.
The perfect danish participant for the the program would have been Sverre H.
Kristensen (they did a feature on him a few months ago) but unfortunately
he's dead. Anyway I hope I don't come out as a complete idiot </begin
taunt>Put your humiliation here </end> and I'm looking forward to hearing
Ivan Stangs interview (Ulla told me she woke you up on your birthday).

Well and one last thing: Ulla who interviewed you looks like a scandinavian
version of Nicole Kidman.

PS: I write for a danish horror/splatter/sci-fi/trash etc. movie fanzine
www.uncut.dk, where I mainly write about weirdo and exploitation stuff, so
that's how she came in contact with me. Well that, and because she
interviewed one of my buddies about Sverre H. Kristensen and another of my
friends about Coffin Joe.
