Is the following claim true? It'd be great if it were!
Martian Education
There are no public schools. The child is taught to
a large extent
in his sleep by a "Z-ray" device which imparts
the lessons or knowledge
directly into his subconscious mind. Usually a child
will have the
equivalent to a college education by the time he or
she has reached the
age of 10.

I dunno about the "z-ray", but it sounds like bad sci-fi to me. I've always found that microwaves work pretty well on the kids. You just have to poke holes in their skulls with a fork to keep 'em from popping.
