St. Palmer Vreedeez and St. Jay Kinney used to draw comic together in
the Day -- YOUNG LUST and ANARCHY COMIX being their best known
collaborations -- and now they're doing the illustrations for a science
fiction web magazine called Infinite Matrix. Paul did the majority of
the actual page designs (but not the coding) and elements, while Jay
and he have been producing the main feature story and novel-excerpt
illustrations.

OTHER DR. HOWLL NEWS I forgot to mntion:
Not only is Dr. Howll narrating THE CONSPIRACY ZONE (and that is him in
that video game HALF LIFE to), but he has a one man show called The
Tentacle Sessions at a San Francisco place called The Madagascar, and
he's doing a strip for the LA Weekly called Dickieland.
I may have some of this wrong, as I'm working from notes I made in a
hectic phone conversation.
I have been surprised that "the old California doktors," that is,
Wellman, Vreedeez, G'broagfran, Hal, Kinney and Glassmadness, haven't
showed more interest in alt.slack. They do email but all seem to be
hesitant to let you great unwashed hoi polloi New Timey SubGenii know
their edresses. I think they got lives or something...? (shudder)
On the other hand, I am always alert that ANY NEW MYSTERY SUBGENIUS ON
ALT.SLACK could actually be Puzzling Evidence in disguise, finally
doing his puzzling things on Usenet. By definition, it would be a long
time before anybody knew it was him. He's the TRICKY SubGenius.
