Which is what I did throughout elementary school and a fair part of
junior high. End result: I was the wimpy nerd who everyone picked on.
I suspect I wasn't the only one who ended up becoming a SubGenius.

So, boys and girls, here's your lesson for the day: if you want to
grow up to be like me, don't fight back in school. If you're lucky,
you might even get to be the teacher's pet. THEN the kids will
respect you - yesiree-"Bob!"

(And don't forget to read alt.sex.stories and see all those true
accounts of kids who were initiated into sex by their teachers after
class. You lose your virginity before you even have to start
shaving.)
