VA - A bill that would have allowed public school children
to
defend themselves against bullies who start fights with
them
died in the House Education Committee yesterday...
...Opponents said students should turn the other cheek
rather
than fight back...

Which is what I did throughout elementary school and
a fair part of
junior high. End result: I was the wimpy nerd who everyone
picked on.
I suspect I wasn't the only one who ended up becoming
a SubGenius.
So, boys and girls, here's your lesson for the day:
if you want to
grow up to be like me, don't fight back in school.
If you're lucky,
you might even get to be the teacher's pet. THEN the
kids will
respect you - yesiree-"Bob!"
(And don't forget to read alt.sex.stories and see all
those true
accounts of kids who were initiated into sex by their
teachers after
class. You lose your virginity before you even have
to start
shaving.)

Too bad, then the guys at Columbine would have a legal
recorse! They could have
pleaded self defense in killing all those Pinks, and
gotten off scot free!

JOHN WAYNE WOULDN'T FLEE!
Even when he was Genghis Khan.
And neither would "Bob". "Bob"
would talk one of US into standing
between HIM and THEM.
Preferably John Wayne. Or failing that, Huey.
"Yes you ARE bulletproof, Huey! So long as you
hold the magical
Bowling Ball of Power, bullets can't touch you!"
"You've got to trust me on this one."

Freddie Mercury, to my mind, will always be one of the
most skilled
singers in rock and roll. To my knowledge he only croaked
once in his
whole career.
