Is probably how much you'll car about the content of this post.
However, since everone seems to be involved in a circle-jerkular
argument about racism, I suppose a little spleen-ventilation on the
side won't really matter much. Still, these things have been on my
mind, so I might as well let off some steam before I gotta go see the
parole occifer. To wit;

GEORGE BUSH IS A FUCKING IDIOT - Who let this creepy little ignoramus
into office? Oh yeah, his dog's-leg-crooked family and about five
members of the Supreme Court. What a completely incompetant fool.
Clearly, he was "elected" just to serve as face man while the Con
manipulators who put him in office could continue widening the gap
between the haves and have-nots. This goes double for all the
shithead citizens whose wallets convinced him to vote for the man,
despite his obvious inability to lead a troop of autistic Cub Scouts.
Never expected him to have to actually do any LEADING, I suppose, just
tax breaks for the rich & big corporations. Now that the shit has hit
the fan, monkey-boy shows his true colors. Apparently, he's just as
convinced that God has chosen him for leadership as bin Laden is.
Check out some of the rhetoric he's been spewing - it sounds like he's
cribbing from old episodes of The Tick.

WHO THE FUCK IS OSAMA BIN LADEN, ANYHOW? - Other than a convenient
scapegoat. What's the fucking deal - for all we know, the bastard
might not even exist. He's jest a brown face with a long beard. An
excuse. And where the fuck is this "evidence" that this non-entity
had anything to do with the 9/11 attacks? Christ, it's like something
out of a Hudson Bros. Saturday morning TV show. next we'll be at war
with "Mr. Evil." Shit, it's not like they're gonna catch the
sumbitch, anyway. It took the U.S. Army ten years to capture
Geronimo, who had all of the technological and geographic "advantages"
that OBL has. And the fucker escaped immediately afterward, anyhow.

WHY ARE WE STILL BOMBING AFGHANISTAN? - Didn't they say they'd hit all
the military targets after the third day? Why are we still chucking
millions in ordnance over there? Huh? perhaps the size of the rubble
is still too big. It's not like all this high-tech whack-off weaponry
is gonna damn bit of good against camel squadrons holed up in deep
caves and tunnels. The only beneficiaries of this continued high-tech
orgy of explosives are Raytheon, Lockheed-Martin, et al who are making
major bank on this crap.

ANTHRAX, SCHMANTHRAX - Does this sound a bit like a diversionary ploy
to anyone? Regardless of the source, this attack has done a lot more
damage to the media coverage in the country than anything else. Get
the self-absorbed news commentators and "pundits" yammering about this
minor threat, rather than focussing on other issues. Also, it's great
for those whose portfolios contain large number of shares of Bayer
stock.

THE RETURN OF PRAVDA - The fed'l gub'mint is coming off like some sort
of Soviet-era Iron Curtain information bureau. Does nobody else
really care that it essentially is controlling important information
about this "war" not unlike the Pravda of old? Truth, my ass.
Half-truths and deliberate evasion seem to be the order of the day.
Well, what the fuck, the same big corporations that paid to put Bush &
Co. in office control the flow of 95% of the information the public
gets to see, anyway. Look for the creation of a new cabinet-level
Ministry of Truth any day now. They're gonna need to do some
high-revolution spinning once U.S. ground troops start coming home in
ziplocs.

AND ANOTHER THING - no, wait, the spleen seems to be deflating nicely
now. Just need a nice cup of Sleepytime Chamomile and a dose of
morphine and i should be able to relax.

Yuh, it occurred to me that Osama was just a bit TOO real to be true,
like Hitler and Tojo. And the Anthrax thing sure gits yer mind offa the
war effort and whatever else they're doing that goes unseen. How quick

If the USA was a person, and Osama was cancer, it'd go around trying to
tuck the damn tumor under its belt or putting makeup over the sore or
sprinkling it with Gold Bond Powder. Damn, an excision is in order
here. When will we learn?

Oh, I can answer that myself. Good never wins over evil. Better brush
up on your Arabic, cuz maybe if you can speak a little of it they won't
cut your tongue out. Not to agree with you about Boosh, but I think
that's the way it'll turn out. Resolve, my ass. Still, I'd rather go

Umm. Wait a minute.

Why do you think a Democrat would REALLY hesitate to shed blood. I won't
go into details, but the Dems are actually a pretty militaristic party
if you look at their actions and not their rhetoric.

I suppose this difference is appearence-vs.-reality is one of those
"variants in sucking technique."

Bottom line, both are bloodthirsty profiteers, and both SUCK.

Back when Eugene Debs ran for president....
Of course they were lying then, it just got more organized
when Debs got 2 million votes and scared the hell out of
the reactionaries.

Of COURSE they cannot talk about why they hate our guts.
The support for Saddam Pre-Kuwait, 1 million dead
Iraqis, bombing of Iraq's water and sewer systems,
our support for the Shah and his Savak murder and torture
squads, our blind eye towards Israel's depredations, and
our semi-pet Yasser Arafat, our blind eye to Turkey's
oppressive regime, and on and on.

As of today we are not supporting any thing like an international
court because we know full well that many of our acts, like
the bombing of Iraq's water system in Desert Storm are war crimes
by half a dozen protocals and treaties and Bush and Clinton
and our Senate and House leaders would immediately be hailed
into court as the war criminals they actually indeed are.

Saddam Hussein and Bush both deserve to be hung from a high
place on the seperate ends of the same rope.

No wonder we are hated. Not that America ever cared, and not
their leaders, the Reagans, the Bushes, the Clintons,
ect.

Because we have always gotten by with shit like this.
Viet Nam, Haiti, Greece in the 70s, Indonesia,
Chile, Guatamala, El Salvador.

What happened though is this, the Islamic extremists are
not the complaisant, beaten, hangdog, do-nothing victims like
the others.

They get even.

Imagine if anrgy Guatamalans, disgusted by America's support
of Rios Montt and other homicidal and psychotic genocidal
Generalissimos were setting off car bombs and ramming
planes into buildings and spreading anthrax germs around.

The same bozos would be sitting in Washington telling us they don't
understand why these Mayans are angry with us, they hate us because
we are a Democracy blah, blah, blah.

They would dare nottell you teh truth for that would mean
they'd have to admit their complicity in crimes against humanity
that would make a maggot vomit.

Well, of course the Mayans are that vengeful, thankfully for us.
The Islamic crazies are, and they have the will and means to
do the deed too.

The problem is, we are in the crossfire just like the innocent
dead children of Iraq.

It amazed me that the Nicaraguans lost about 50,000 people deposing Somoza. Sounds like not much, but per centage-wise, it would be like more than 5 million people getting killed in a civil war here. There are at least 5 million people who have the motivation for violent social change, and I don't think that the middle class has the motivation to hold on to what they have at all costs.
Another interesting factor is the military strategy of being able to fight 2 or 2.5 wars; if one of the wars is on the homefront, that might alter the equation considerably. Also, if there are 2 or 3 wars going overseas against the "terrorists," I can just see the Homeland Security Battalions of Soccer Moms and Blue-haired Bingo Grannies.

As we speak, the 'war' is going to shit.

Our 'allies' are getting antsy as the incompetence rolls on
and the innocent victims pile up.

The NA is not able to do much, a few of our special forces
supermen got shot up and the Taliban has not fallen apart as hoped.
As we speak, Rumsfeld and the Generals are at each others throats
and the griping from the field about spaced out and incompetent
generalling is coming in.

Bush is getting scared, the criticisms are beginning to pile up and
the bombing isn't working like it did for Clinton in Kosovo.
Of course what really worked in Kosovo was the Russians telling
the Serbs that the West was mounting a full scale military invasion,
they were gonna get creamed if they didn't back off of Kosovo.
The Taliban and Bin Laden have nothing to lose, so that won't work
here, the bombing and preperations don't do much for a crew
that knows they will hang if they survive. And they have no place to run,
en masse anyway.

As we speak, word from the Brits are that the US
is feverishly planning a massive invasion in case
Rummy and Bushy-wushy can't finesse it with bombs
and a few Rambo style moves.
The Taliwhackers and Bin Laden's Arabs have between them,
40,000 or so troops. The Powell Doctrine dictates
a three to one numerical advantage with necessary
logistical forces to support 120,000, that's closer
to 300,000 to 400,000 troops to pull off an invasion.

Which may be a problem for Pakistan and others.
And makes a hollow mockery of Bush's truely
stupid speeches against "nation building".

The only way to win there IS to invade, wnad when you win,
you are stuck with "nation building" whether you like
it or not.

Remember what happened to the idiot Bush Daddy when he held
back on Saddam and failed to twist the sword.
Saddam thumbed his snout at Bush n' Clinton and got
by with it and Bush's 90 approval rating plummetted to zippo.

Bushy-wushy II cannot afford to defeat the ragheads, waltz off
and leave the shitbag country to the untender mercies
of the NA who were ever bit as bad, most of 'em, as
the Taliban. The few that weren't we have stiff armed for
decades and they have not much pull. We didn't believe in nation
building you see....

Ex-Reaganbots have admitted that they WANTED extremist
haters to run Afghanistan to keep the Russians entertained
for decades when we waltzed off and left the whole shitting mess
to fester. That was no accident, it was a callous, purposeful
plan.
One more reason not to vote GOP.

If this drags on and on, and it will, and the innocents
keep getting killed and American body bags start coming home,
and nothing much happens, well, we do have an off year election
coming up in November of 2002.

Electioneering starts in earnest in February 2002.

Politics will soon be driving all of this.
And don't think people overseas, like the Pakistanis, Saudis
and others don't realize this either.

Bush is basically incompetent, its is a matter of how much luck
he can muster till November 20 2002.

Hang on children, its going to get worse and worse.
The GOP is screwing the pooch on the recession,
maybe they can screw the war and piss off everybody.
