Work is the Blackmail of survival... You wouldn't be there spending large
amounts of time doing something you hate unless THEY had you.
You like the playstation (or whatever) and the DVD player etc... If you play
nice and by THIER rules they'll let you have the toys on easy terms
9.99% interest etc.. The consumer goodies are just cheap enough so you can
get 'em if you just hang around company x producing useless widgets to tempt
other CONSUMER WHORES keeping yourself just busy enough, between the long
boring hours at "work" and the blurry evenings spent in front of one type of
box or other, to keep yourself from causing any "real trouble" for THEM.
The Carrot on that stick ain't getting ANY closer man but you just keep
trudging on...
Don't get pissed at me tho. I do the same thing most of us do. Even those
who style themselves "elite" in slackdom end up with a little more False
slack than they'll admit to anyone. I spend my time STEALING all the music
I listen to but refusing to buy a $17.00 cd doesn't make me a rebel it only
sooths that sickening feeling of dread and self loathing I get when the part
of me that still has any sense tells me it's time to bag it all and hit the
road and taste TRUE freedom and all I find myself doing is grabbing the
next distraction off my shiny new cable modem before I have to punch-in
again...

Nah, her brittle calcium-depleted bones will snap and crunch before
I've even NEARLY made up for all this work shit. It's klind of
satisfying anyway that her career kicked into high gear only when her
old cunt was way too dry for the CONSTANT FUCKING that is so easily
attainable for rich people.

Interesting sentiment.

I'd say 'let us know when you finally break out' but if you break out,
chances are you're not going to be held by the stinking confines of
usenet. So I'd say 'let us know how it was when you get back' but
then I'm being a downer because I'm implying your eventual failure and
return. I'd continue this message, but it would only lead to either
enough of a laugh distraction to delay you more, or disgust enough to
start you on your quest for the wrong reasons.
