small paradox

The Hamas leader who the Israelis just bumped off,
"Helizapped", as some are now calling it, swore that
he would never negotiate with Israel and steadfastly
insisted that Israel must be totally destroyed and
all Jews killed.

One of the criticisms leveled today was that his
killing "doesn't help the peace process or the two
sides reaching a settlement."

Uh?

I don't know what you're talking about.
I've never met you before in my life.
That story sounds like utter bullshit.
I wasn't there and it wasn't me.
I am *not* in denial. Shut up.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Take the toy out of the sandbox,
the kids will stop squabbling, pout for a while, then go home.

Nuke Jerusalem.

I'd say add Mecca and Rome to that as well, except that Rome is still full
of beautiful stuff, created and sculpted by bloodthirsty empire-obsessed
child molesting Pagans, and Renaissance-era secret society patrons.

And it's on the Mediterranean.

And it's sunny, and the food and coffee are the best on this earth.

And Romans fuck in public.

And Bernardo Bertolucci makes a fantastic insane Roman cab driver at 4 AM.

So Rome gets the Sodom treatment; although it's partially operated by
bloodthirsty empire obsessed child molesting Christians, the good honest
Sodomites make it worthy of sparing judgment.

I guess when it's a choice between 3000-year-old cities, one makes your
religion and faith significant, and the other reminds you that you will join
millenia of bonepiles in the catacombs under the city, so you might as well
enjoy life because you are an insignificant player in the movements of
empires.

I like being made insignificant, personally. It's more fun.
