I have to send you a CD of those Art Mines. In theory, you wouldn't
have to mail me back anything but the revised HTML and a folder of
thumbnail images.

You will be the fifth person I have sent that CD to, who said they were
gonna fix it, though. The FIFTH. I fear to mail it to you because
whosoever has gotten those disks from me in the past, has subsequently
as much as vanished from SubGeniusdom rather than either do the work or
admit they couldn't. As if there's a curse on that section, or,
perhaps, on the concept of SubGenius Volunteer Work.

However, unlike the others, you have ALREADY PROVED YOURSELF, by your
GODLIKE GRACE in tweaking HUNDREDS of text files already! So I'll be
sure and enclose that CD with all the other MIGHTY PILES of KEEN RARE
SWAG that I'll eventually mail. Even if the curse affects you too, I
will have already gotten plenty of toil out of you already!

I need to put more of those revised sections on SubSITE too.

However I am in a RACE AGAINST TIME. I have to go to Texas again in ONE
WEEK and I'll return barely in time for X-Day. Before then I must edit
AND DUPE AND MAIL all THREE Hours of Slack that would normally be
mailed out over the next 3 weekends. (they're REALLY REALLY GOOD ONES,
though!) And make any swag that I'm gonna take to X-Day to sell. (If
anybody has ANY specific requests you'd BETTER TELL ME AHEAD OF TIME or
it probably won't be there.) And I must tweak up SubSITE more, as best
I can. Oh yeah and the taxes. And those articles I was gonna write. And
get that new stuff into the catalog. And I gotta get a mass emailing
about ALL that out again soon. I guess editing LAST X-Day's footage is
not to be. Damn, some was pretty good. BUT! Fuck 'em if they can't take
a joke.

Incidentally, of the people who publically bragged that they were gonna
download those text chunks and help me, none did. You and Rocknar, and
Cobblestone, however, JUST SIMPLY DID THE TOIL, and then sent the
finished results to me. This is why you are now a LIVING SUBGENIUS
GOD-MAN, right up there on Mount O'Limp-Us with Jesus, Magdalen,
Nickie, David Bachner, Chris Lee, the equipment donators, Prostata and
the few others who have actually *done* pure toil that involved
glorifying OTHER SubGenii BESIDES THEMSELVES.

FINE ART, RANTFUL WRITING, MUSIC and AUDIO COLLAGE CREATION do not
count as toil; those are Slack. You arteests can't fool me. In fact I'm
now going to stop thinking about the toil myself, because, as you can
see, it's depressing to me, and I shall duck back into the Slackful
Artistry part of my half-job, to perform the main hacking and trimming
and tweaking of these fantabulous radio shows, which, believe me, is
REALLY REALLY FUN, and makes up for all the tedious crap that goes with
antirunning an anticult antibusiness. My beautiful new wife is off
singing with her folk music group this particular Saturday, otherwise
I'd be doing something even more Slackful than editing Hour of Slack!
So I really shouldn't complain. But, you know, complaining is Slack
too. Heck, for some, it has seemingly become the ONLY form of Slack.

Anyway, thanks for the help you already did so far. I am planning to
clean up and illustrate the indexes leading to those pages ASAP. That
will also be fun in a strange "fanzine-making" sort of way. But that
doesn't involve physical mailing or hauling of dozens of physical
objects, so the radio show deadline is the more deadly.

Speaking of which, your audio cut-ups pepper the new shows in an almost
Fernandinandian way! Like the noble Red Man and his Buffalo, we
SubGenii do not waste a SINGLE BIT of alt.binaries.slack. Even after
all the flesh is gone, the bones are carved into tools, the hides made
into clothing or shelter, the oggs turned into transitional mind-rips,
the jpgs made into souvineer T-shirts and coffee mugs, not to mention
website art galleries without end. No profligate squandering of natural
resources for us. EVERY PART IS USED.

I know what you mean. People in charge of religions seem to have a
problem with "unreliable people". Shit, man, I've just been majorly
slacking majorly off, before loads of student exams come along (and
revising too). I read through Pamphlet 1 and 2 again yesterday also.

There's 18 Fernandinande galleries on there! 18 damn galleries.
Motivation enough?? I wish I was in this church from the damn start.

Humans News, had to be the most boring task of them all so far, but
there you have it.

Thank you. I have downloaded loads of AUDIO crap to cut up, so, more
may be on the way. However, Iam busy next week. As Iam travelling to
Liverpool, playing with my band at the world famous Cavern Club! On
Saturday the 14th.

This is us: www.littlecooey.com there's not a lot of information
there, and the bassist is no longer Nick, it is actually me.

also.

Also, exams threaten my slack.
