Well, dang, if I never saw a movie about an uncarded Connietite, then kill
me!

This runs kinda like a female version of Midnight Cowboy. Funny how a few
bad teeth and some liver spots can turn Charlize Theron into the kind of gal
I'D be lucky to pick up off I-95 after all the bars have closed.

Oscars all around. BUT...you'd think once they'd find a couple of GOOD
LOOKING LESBIANS with a story to tell, somewhere on this planet. I mean
good looking if you don't happen to be a licensed dyke.

God I forgot that one.

Jennifer Tilly is one of those women that I can just FEEL her pussy

That's the first movie Mister Sister showed us on his giant TV, from
his collection! He's got that movie (and probably all Lynch films)
MEMORIZED.

I liked MONSTER much better, myself. The supermodel might look ugly in
this movie but GOD DAMN, that scene in the roller rink when the two
gals start making out right in front of all the teenagers just about
lak to pop my Tall Boy.

Unfortunately that Christina Ricci girl bears an uncanny resemblance to
my daughter these days, so it was a disorienting and disturbing moment
for me.

I got my copy of Eraserhead on DVD the same day I got Arise! and now
my life is complete. I still have to get Wild at Heart, my copy of
the tape broke.

Life in America. You can get every pink movie made in the last 7000
years on DVD UNLESS it's a David Lynch movie. The killer is that they
are all released in Europe or Mexico or somewhere but then you're
screwed because of region encoding, and what the fuck is really the
POINT of region encoding? I really struggle to see how it is supposed
to prevent piracy, and if you live in a PINK region then it just
reduces the available movies.

Arise is killer on DVD. In fact it's kind of a completely different
movie on DVD. I just saw it as a kind of random barrage when I
watched it in VHS, a good random barrage with some very good moments
and throw-off remarks but still kind of random. I'm kind of a
subgenius I guess but I'm also a computer programmer and my brain
doesn't deal with random well. Somehow though with the clarity of the
sound and video on DVD it all made sense.

It ALL MADE SENSE. Either that or maybe all that stuff about the
brain modification frequencies at the start of the tape was really not
kidding, and watching it the first time PROGRAMMED me to like it the
next time I watched it. I think I will stay away from the University
of Texas just to be on the safe side.

I just saw Monster this weekend. That movie traumatized me again. I
am not sure why I go see movies that -should- traumatize me then walk
away from the theatre saying "AHH that was DUMB" because they don't
until I finally see one that DOES succeed and then I walk away from
the theatre saying "FUCK WHY DO I DO THAT TO MYSELF?"

It all came down to Charlize Therone. It's fucking incredible what
she does to herself. I kind of tend to the outskirts of life enough
that I meet a lot of people like her. Ho's and women with that kind
of abused-upbringing overbearing personality.

Ho's in real life are not like Rachel Ward or Julia Roberts. Ho's in
real life do not end up marrying millionaires. Ho's in real life are
in fact generally the least fuckable women in the world. They are
never UNfuckable or they wouldn't be ho's (or, they would be very
broke ho's, which I think would only make them theoretical-ho's).
Ho's in real life are like the very last woman in the bar that you
would really WANT to fuck but as the night wears on and your prospects
go home with other guys you sort of start acting nicer to them until
you know your prospects are all a little dubious so you finally give
her a shot and you find that she would be happy to fuck you, although
she does want you to slip her a twenty but what the fuck, you already
spent 80 bucks drinking anyway.

Wait, what am I saying? They aren't LIKE that. They ARE that.

I mean not to say that there aren't pretty ho's out there, there
probably are. The vast majority of the ones I've known though more or
less fit the above.

Some ho's are prettier than others though. Some of the really pretty
ho's have it a lot better than the 20 a pop ones. Enough so that they
don't really have to grab the cash up front, they know you want them
bad enough that they don't have to even ask for the money, you will
make the contribution on your own steam. You will get them the credit
card or 'contribute' money to their bank account. And this will
happen before they 'decide' to go ahead and give you a hand job.

In fact there's a disturbingly fine line between a really good ho and
a wife or girlfriend.

But the HO ho's I've known have all been a LOT like Charlize Theron in
this movie. It's got to be a tough thing for an actress to do, to
really make herself unattractive for the sake of really nailing a
part. You have to wonder how much the audience will really get it,
and if they don't get it, then she's ruined her career, because
everybody will just remember her as that ugly girl from the Ho movie.

I sat and watched Devil's Advocate again, where she plays Keanu
Reeves' pixy adorable yuppy wife. It's unbelievable it's the same
person.
