Children to get jabs against drug addiction

cocaine and nicotine targeted

A radical scheme to vaccinate children against
future drug addiction is being considered by
ministers, The Independent on Sunday can reveal.

Under the plans, doctors would immunise children
at risk of becoming smokers or drug users with an
injection. The scheme could operate in a similar
way to the current nationwide measles, mumps and
rubella vaccination programme.

Childhood immunisation would provide adults with
protection from the euphoria that is experienced
by users, making drugs such as heroin and cocaine
pointless to take. Such vaccinations are being
developed by pharmaceutical companies and are due
to hit the market within two years...

"Protection from the euphoria". EEEeee. Does that mean destroying the
ability to experience euphoria completely? That's going to turn them into
Prozac junkies. As of that injection, they will begin a lifelong obsession
searching for the experience of euphoria. Hmm. If I were a designer drug
maker with government connections ... I would 'immunize' children against,
oh, let's say Boggleboppage, which has the side effect of making, oh, let's
say Zertyctiline(tm) very very desirable to these children after puberty
occurs. Then, I would sell Zertyctiline(tm) to them. Hey! I could even make
Zertyctiline(tm) available only to members of MY military! Coooool. Thanks
