Here is a speech of JFK when he was running for president.
Compare to the sorry shit we get from GWB and weep.

Is there someplace to download Bushy-wushy speeches?
Cause that goofball bastard has a lot stuff just begging
to be put into some startling audio collages.

The man's a moron.

Well, if you really want to get depressed, think about
the Lincoln-Douglas debates. They were not only so
intelligent that they were written down and published
in *book* form, but they are also still discussed and
analyzed today--as a high point in Western Civ.

Compare that to Bush-Gore. If anyone still has a
transcript.

*Real* freedom of speech is only meaningful when
it protects speech you *agree* with, but that is
said by a speaker who fucks it up so incredibly
much that you want to savagely beat him.

I taped the debates. Such as they were.

It was scary to watch them and see that many people
thought Bush did well and was presidential material.
But Gore wasn't exactly Desmothenes.

I am sorry I didn't tape Bush's truely sorry post 9/11
speeches.

Truely bizarre speech patterns.
Truely brain damaged assertions.

You can probably still find them in file sharing services like
Morpheus by typing in 'wtc'. Yeah in the speech directly after the
event there was some line he said like "A great people have been moved
to defend a great nation". What?? No one had even done anything yet in
response.

Oh yes, I have a heavily annotated leatherbound copy of the historic
event which I plan to pass on to my grandchlldren.

I especially was taken by Bush's immortal "He not only invented the
internet, he invented the calculator". Not since Lincoln have we seen
such a brilliantly incisive political mind!

By George, I think he's got it!

George's frame is mainly on the train.
George's brain is mainly in the tarpaulin.
And where's his frame?
On the train! On the train!
And where's the tarpaulin?
On the plane! The plane!
Boss, look! De plane! De plane!
With George's brain!
