It's very telling how the extreme-left anti-war movement is latching
on to the coincidental color match between cluster bomblets and food
aid packages. Instead of seeing it as the action of a military that,
if their bomb goes unexploded, wants civilians on the ground to SEE
them so they can avoid them, they choose to see it as the action of a
military that positively WANTS to kill civilians, regardless of the PR
nightmare that entails, during the first war ever where good PR is
more important than troop strength. No one seems to realize that the
people who build cluster bombs and the people who put together aid
packages don't really converse with each other much. No one seems to
notice that there hasn't been even one instance of the dreaded
confusion taking place, only that the possibility has been pointed
out. They just want to harp on a minor, coincidental mistake that was
fixed weeks ago. Very telling, this is to me.

I don't think cluster bombs taste as good as food rations...

I don't see why the army needs YOU to defend it. It's the one with the
cluster bombs, after all. All that the anti-war protestors have is big
mouths and the prospect of arrest without a warrant, torture, and trial
without counsel at a closed military tribunal.

To expand on that a little: arrest(*) without
a warrant based on covert surveillance, seizure
and forfeiture of all assets, recovery of all
educational, medical and other private or
confidential records which may be used against
you, injection with various drugs such as truth
syrum, endorphine (anti-pain) blockers, fear
and paranoia inducers, and hallucinogens (not,
by far, an inclusive torture list); and *finally*
trial, overseas, with a *hostile* counsel, before
a military tribunal "under instruction", with
secret evidence and no cross-examination of secret
witnesses.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention. At any
point during the proceedings you may be delivered
to the jurisdiction of a foreign government for
the purposes of trial and/or imprisonment.

(*) Your actual arrest may occur anywhere in
the world, by US Federal Marshals, essentially
kidnapping you if you are not on US "soil",
even if no extradition treaty exists.

sounds like a pretty SWEET DEAL if you're on the right side of the nail
studded baton!

But there's a major problem! Were you aware that there is
a CRITICAL SHORTAGE of moron-grade stupid & brutal henchmen?

Did you know of the enormous number of moron-grade s&bs that
are needed to prop up *any* respectable authoritarian regime?

Everywhere from corrupt local cops to prison guards to
paramilitaries: we're talking a major recruitment effort!
But it's JUST NOT ENOUGH.

You've tried damaging infants' brains...
You've tried indoctrination and institutional child abuse...
You've even tried CLONING...

But it's JUST NOT ENOUGH. The m-g s&b labor pool is TOO SMALL.

I blame the liberals. All that touchy-feely shit.

Dammit, most of the m-g s&bs don't even know how to use a
common bullwhip! Would never *dream* of using a red-hot
poker on a twitching cripple balled up and crying in the
corner! Wimpy. Wimpy. Wimpy. Bah.

With a 12-week course of basic training, I don't think there'd be
any left when I'd get there. And with all the tax money I've paid,
I'll say "sic 'em, boys" if I want to. All the knee-jerk biters of
Uncle Sam's ass seem to feel free to express themselves. Is that a
one-sided right?

Me with a rack like that? I would get no fighting done, because I'd
be fondling myself too much and telling Gabrielle, "Let's answer that
nature-of-the-relationship question, baby, now C'MERE!"

At least we can all agree that hot lesbian action featuring sharp
blades and leather bustiers is a GOOD thing.
